A new story I came up on the spot. It was inspired by me going to renew my driver's license at the DMV.
Some of the characters were from a previous story I made and I decided to add them here. I drew them as chibis because it's easier.

The story is called UKNown. In the world of UKNown it is very important to keep your last name a secret for reasons unknown, hence the characters only having a first name. The ones with first names are known as the FIRST, and it is rare to find ones calling themselves by their last names, known as the LAST. The main cast of UKNown each have unique powers and abilities, as well as...unusual and strange personalities. The members of the FIRST are either friend or foe. Maybe even lovers. Who knows? You can never really tell with these guys and gals.

Name: Kei (means "blessed, lucky")

Eyes: deep brown (turns red due to the curse)

The protagonist of the story. Kei returns to his childhood home from a long absence to find that things are...different. The people he knew as a child have definitely changed for better or worse, not that he cares. Especially himself, but he doesn't want anyone to know. He also seems to bring "bad luck" to those that oppose or threaten him (the opposite of what his name means). Kei is a carrier of the Blood Sword, a demonic blade that he unwillingly uses when in battle. He hates his power because of his curse of being a "blood demon". His view of the "dark world" changes when he meets a boy name Akiyo, whom he may have feelings for.

A mysterious young boy who appears out of nowhere to Kei's childhood home. His reason is to simply "observe the strange people living here". He takes an interest in Kei when he first meets him, and from then on follows him where ever he goes, even going as far as to live with him (only because Kei doesn't want him to get kidnapped). Akiyo is the only one who appears to dress strangely. He likes the color white and crosses. He may be in love with Kei. Akiyo's weapon is a white scythe.

Miwa is a full-time employee of a small sweet treats shop. She'll give her best customers the yummiest sweets ever made! She is generally a kind and loving girl (and a bit of a ditz). Miwa is also a strong individual and she shows it by putting up a tough attitude to show she's very capable of handling things. She refers to herself as "Miwa-Miwa" most of the time. She is close friends with Chiyo and seems to be interested in her. Miwa uses a rod as her weapon.

Chitose is one of the smartest boys in his class, if not the only smartest. He is always seen carrying or reading a book. When he was young he lost his eyes due to a disease, where he then received a transplantation of the eyes of a wolf. With his new eyes he was able to see again, even better than before, but it came with a few "animal-like side effects". Chitose is a skilled marksman for his age and he uses the phrase "I'll shoot you in the fucking face" often. His best friend is Rishu and he has a close relationship with Isamu. He is rumored to be a werewolf.

Rishu is a laid-back kind of guy with a devil-may-care attitude. He enjoys hanging out at night and takes naps often, in which he receives a harsh scolding from Chitose. Rishu is actually the town's one and only resident vampire, a fact that he hides well. As a vampire the sun rarely hurts him so he's able to go to school during the day. Garlic, wooden stakes and holy water doesn't hurt him either. Rishu likes to drink Chitose's blood and wants to have a relationship with him. He's not on friendly terms with Isamu and seems to have some sort of rivalry with him.

Isamu is a high school teacher and is glad that he's not a teenager anymore. He is quite popular among the students and staff. As an adult he is elegant and refined, but he can lose his temper when it comes to certain things. He has a close friendship with Chitose and he tolerates him well than most students. He dislikes Rishu greatly and thinks of him as an "annoying tick". He does not fear Hakujou or Nanase. He has a deep dark secret that no one knows: He is half vampire and half werewolf. Isamu uses a rapier as his weapon.

Name: Chiyo (means "eternal, thousand generations")

A tomboyish kind of girl with an upbeat and cheerful personality. Chiyo likes to participate in any active sport, with her favorite being volleyball. She has the ability to use powerful force fields to protect herself and her friends. Chiyo's feelings for her friend Miwa may be unrequited due to the fact that she likes Isamu, who is unaware of her feelings towards him. She uses two sais as her weapon.

Rikiya may seem like your average cool guy in sunglasses, but he's more than that. People may not notice the first few times, but underneath those shades he is actually blind, despite being able to guide his way on his own around without help of others or a seeing-eye dog. Rikiya wasn't always blind and many assume his disability was caused by an "accident", but Rikiya says and knows it was caused by his long-time bitter rival, Hakujou. He is very outspoken and positive about most things and is only serious when it comes to certain things. His excellent hearing helps him get around. His favorite pasttime is sitting in the park to listen to nature and tripping people. His cane is his weapon of choice, which conceals a slender sword.

Name: Hakujou (means "unfeeling, cruel")
Age: 18-19

The only man to strike fear into people's hearts, Hakujou is a cold-hearted individual who cares for nothing and enjoys laughing at other people's pain. It is rare for him to show public displays of affection, mostly towards his rival, Rikiya. In the past, Hakujou caused Rikiya to go blind as an act of revenge during one of their violent fights. To this day Hakujou still apologizes for what he did to Rikiya, though he does it in a cold and caring way. He likes to think he has a love-hate relationship with Rikiya. His hobby is collecting jade-colored items. Hakujou uses a short sword as his weapon.

Name: Hoshi (means "star")

A calm and quiet girl, Hoshi enjoys nature and compliments on how peaceful it is quite often. She may seem to be the ideal girl to many men, but she's actually cold and manipulative in her actions. Hoshi does things through acts of fear, which gets her what she wants every time. She does not fear Hakujou and instead she highly respects him. Hoshi used to have feelings for Hakujou but she now has a strong interest in Takaya. The only person Hoshi seems to back down from is her classmate, Nanase. She has no need for a weapon and instead relies on brute strength.

Name: Takaya (means "respectful one")

Takaya is the most sweetest and lovable guy in school that both girls and guys can't help but fall for him. He loves gardening and owns a small garden in the backyard of his home. He is also president of the flower club (the only boy in this club). He is oblivious to most things, especially Hoshi's feelings and advances towards him. The only person Takaya pays attention to is Nanase, the boy in his class that he has a crush on. He may seem normally sweet but he can also make people fear him (he has a hidden darker side) when he is threatened. People don't take him seriously when he uses a garden rake as a weapon.

Nanase is generally a quiet boy, being antisocial and a loner. He doesn't seem to care much about other people and acts dark and threatening towards them. The reason for his attitude is due to an incident in the past that he hates to talk about. He only shows a gentle and caring side whenever he is around Hoshi, the only girl to catch his interest. He has an equal respect for Hakujou and he also does not fear him, though he is shown to either like or dislike Hakujou. Nanase is unaware of Takaya's deep feelings for him. He uses knives as his weapon.
